This is the technical companion to our Privacy Policy. It lists every cookie and similar technology we use, what each does, and how you can change your choice.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A "cookie" is a small file stored in your browser by a website. We also use localStorage and sessionStorage, which work similarly but live in the browser's storage rather than as classic cookies. In this policy, "cookie" covers all three for simplicity.
We use these technologies for three purposes only: to make the site work (strictly necessary), to remember preferences (functional), and — with your consent — to understand site usage (analytics).
We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, social media tracking, or selling data to third parties.
2. Your choices
When you first visit, you see a consent banner with three options:
- Accept all — strictly necessary, functional and analytics cookies are enabled.
- Reject optional — only strictly necessary cookies are used.
- Customise — view this page and make granular choices below.
Your choice is stored for 12 months (and re-asked thereafter, or sooner if we materially change our cookie use).
To change your choice at any time, scroll to the footer of any page and click "Cookie preferences". To revoke entirely, you can also clear your browser's storage for our domain — this will trigger the banner again on your next visit.
3. The full list
Strictly necessary (always on — no consent required)
These are required for the site to function. Switching them off would break basic functionality, so we do not ask consent for them, as permitted under PECR regulation 6(4)(b).

If we adopt a cookied analytics tool in the future, this table will be updated and existing users will be re-prompted before the new cookies are set.
What we deliberately do not use
- No advertising or retargeting pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads tag, LinkedIn Insight, X conversion tracker, TikTok pixel — none of these are present).
- No A/B testing tools that fingerprint users.
- No session-replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory, Microsoft Clarity — none of these are present).
- No data brokers.
- No social media share-button widgets that phone home (we use plain links).
If we ever add any of the above, this policy will be updated and you will be re-prompted before they activate.
4. Particles and decorative animations
The animated particle background on our pages is rendered locally in your browser using HTML5 Canvas. It does not set any cookies and does not phone home. However, it is treated as a "functional" element (rather than strictly necessary) because the site is fully usable without it, and the cookie banner gives you the option to disable it as part of "reject optional".
5. The Delia voice widget on this site
When you click "Talk to Delia" anywhere on delia.ovysion.com, the AI disclosure modal appears first. That modal asks for your explicit consent to start the voice call — including audio capture, recording, transcription, and processing by AI services. This consent is separate from cookie consent: it covers personal data processing under UK GDPR / EU GDPR, not just cookies.
The session-scoped consent for the AI is stored in ai_consent_session (see the functional table above) so we don't pester you each time you click. The next time you visit the site, you'll be asked again.
6. Cookies on third-party sites where Delia is embedded
If you encounter Delia on a customer's website (e.g. a hotel or clinic) rather than on ours, the cookies in use on that site are set by the customer, not by us. The widget itself uses only the minimum technical state required to run the call (similar to ai_consent_session above), and the customer's own cookie policy governs the rest.
